Marett Mollnow is currently a student-athlete at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She is studying Natural Resource Management and plans to later obtain her masters in Marine Biology to work in the field of ocean conservation. She has a strong love for the outdoors that has come from growing up in remote towns in Alaska. When she was younger her family lived in a fly-in only village. Living there required her family to live a subsistence lifestyle, having to hunt, fish, and gather. This quickly became a way of life for them and they have continued it into the other towns that they have lived in. Having to live off the land made Marett appreciate and understand the necessity of preserving our natural resources. She has a desire to explore and become more knowledgeable about natural environments and how to preserve them for generations to come.
