Kathya Argueta is a senior at University of San Diego pursuing a B.A in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology of Diseases. She is passionate about marine mammals, herpetofauna, and the ecology of diseases. Has a variety of field and lab research experience in assessing water quality through aquatic invertebrates, cultivating, cloning, and identifying bacteria, and capturing and identifying herpetofauna, aves, and mammals. She hopes to gain more hands-on experience in these fields to gain new field and technical skills while enriching current ones.
