MEET OUR INTERNS

Sara Thornburg

Sara Thornburg is an illustrator transitioning into an art conservation career. She graduated in 2014 with a BFA in Illustration from Columbus College of Art & Design, and worked as a freelance designer/illustrator until finding the art conservation field in 2017. Since that time, Sara has completed chemistry undergraduate work at Shepherd University to fulfill US graduate program prerequisites. She has been working for the National Park Service as a museum conservation intern since 2020, and plans to apply to US art conservation graduate programs this winter.
