Laura Plascencia

Laura Plascencia is an undergraduate CSU Stanislaus student majoring in ecological, organismal, and evolutionary biology; and minoring in chemistry. She is very passionate about planet Earth and the way organisms interact with the environment. Her love for nature has transpired into an educational interest to get a deeper understanding of the many ways the planet is interconnected. She is a dedicated, detail-oriented, and outspoken fellow with the passion to pursue scientific research experience to help the advancement of sustainable ecological modernity. With a high interest in conservation, habitat restoration, and effective resource quality management. She has an outgoing and adaptable personality, ready to take on any challenge. Overall a very enthusiastic learner ready to evolve as a scientist and influence her community for a better tomorrow.
