MEET OUR INTERNS



Santianna Horseson

Santianna was Development Director for a local nonprofit in Leadville, Colorado where she has lived since 2012. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and has degrees in Community Building in Indigenous Settlements as well as a Liberal Arts degree with an emphasis on Native American Studies. She also has a degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management from Navajo Technical University. Santianna is currently pursuing an MBA in project management and marketing. Santianna is a regular volunteer in her community, she loves to work with and collaborate with various people and organizations. Santianna is a Native American of mixed descent. She is part Navajo, Chiricahua, Yaqui and Jemez. She speaks English, Navajo and is learning Spanish. Santianna loves the outdoors and has a deep connection to nature. She supports indigenous efforts to protect water, land and Native American rights.
