Alexa Bracken is a dedicated, passionate, and brilliant young student whose ideas and goals have the potential to take her very far in life. As an Environmental Economics major at the University of Rhode Island, she understands the interpersonal relationship between people and the environment. With her double major in Anthropology, she learns a cultural aspect of society's inner workings and systems - the why to the how. Combined, these two majors prepare Alexa for a unique and profound understanding of the world around her. Receiving placement on Dean's List many years in a row, Alexa's dedication to her studies truly shows not only through her grades, but through the way she composes herself under pressure. Alexa was a MANO intern at Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge summer 2019, and is currently the Environmental Education and Community Outreach Intern with Providence Parks.
