Alejandra Sanchez

Alejandra Sanchez is a senior at Portland State University, where she is majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geography. As a first -generation college student, she will be the first in her family to obtain a college degree which she hopes to use to enhance the connection between the Latine Community and nature, hoping to enrich not only their knowledge but also their quality of life. Inspired by the environmental inequalities the Latine community currently faces, Alejandra aspires to pursue a career in community outreach and environmental education. When she’s not busy exploring the outdoors with her toy poodle Harley, Alejandra enjoys live music or a good romantic comedy.
