Ruby Gonzalez

Ruby Gonzalez is a first generation college graduate with a Bachelor’s in Science in Environmental Studies from the California State University, Long Beach. Although her academic studies emphasized the biological and ecological components of Environmental Science, her work centers around Environmental Justice and the social implications of environmental issues. She believes everyone should have access to clean water, clean air and a clean environment. Ruby’s goal is to fill in the gaps where underrepresented communities and their respective institutions fail them, she plans to do that through education and advocacy. Ruby is currently a Park Guide at Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California.
