Hispanic Access Foundation Welcomes New Accountant

Category: News Releases

Washington, D.C. - Hispanic Access Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Marisol Pitre as an Accountant. Pitre has a track record of over two decades in business management and bookkeeping in a non-profit setting and vast experience in critical financial functions including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable journals, trial balances, and payroll records. Pitre supports the organization’s programmatic growth and expansion.

"I wanted to work for Hispanic Access Foundation after reading about their cause of helping Latinos,” shared Petri. “In my opinion, as a Nuyorican, a.k.a. Puerto Rican from New York, this would have been a great resource for my mom at the time she came to New York without a word of English."

Pitre holds a degree in Business Administration from Baruch College and a Full Charge Bookkeeping Certificate from Lehman College. Her professional memberships include the Notary Public certification in the State of New York, the American Association of Notaries, and the National Association of Professional Women.

“We are excited to have such a qualified person join our finance team,” said Maite Arce, president and CEO of the Hispanic Access Foundation. “Marisol plays a vital role in strengthening our financial health and contributing to our overall financial growth.”

With Marisol Petri on board, Hispanic Access Foundation is poised to maximize financial efficiency and continue securing its position as a leader in its field.
