Hispanic Access Foundation is excited to announce the premiere of our new brand film during Mejor Juntos: Weaving the Fabric of Comunidad, taking place on Wednesday, June 29 from 3-4 pm ET. The short film details the history, mission and future of Hispanic Access as we all “Weave the Fabric of Comunidad.” The film also includes cameos from several network members who are leading big changes in their communities.
“Latinos have contributed to the flourishing of our nation in ways big and small, yet, they are often marginalized, misunderstood, and minimized within the American experience,” said Maite Arce, president and CEO of Hispanic Access. “We hope our brand film shines a light on our work to highlight the countless hidden stories of Latinos’ strength and resiliency throughout the years.”
Mejor Juntos: Weaving the Fabric of Comunidad will include a virtual networking session during the first ten minutes and the final fifteen minutes of the hour, where participants can connect with individuals from across the country. Following the networking event, the event program will be held. The program will include a keynote address by Arce, who will also be visiting tables during the virtual networking postion.
During the event, we will also unveil our new giving club, Elevación, which will be instrumental in our work to uplift Latino leaders. Elevación will be a dedicated community of Hispanic Access Foundation's most valued partners committed to elevating Latino voices to ensure equity and representation in all areas of life.
Along with elevating the voices of our network, participants can also expect to hear key updates about Hispanic Access Foundation during the event, hear from a couple of our network leaders and build new relationships. To learn more about Mejor Juntos: Weaving the Fabric of Comunidad or to register, please visit https://bit.ly/MejorJuntosEvent.
