Anisa Lopez- Ruiz

Originally from Texas, Anisa is currently attending Pomona College where they study biology. Anisa is interested in ecological interactions, including plant-pollinator mutualisms. They are passionate about conservation and are excited to deepen this interest in their internship this summer developing status assessments for plants in southern California. They care deeply about environmental justice and hope to use their knowledge in ecology and conservation to create a more just world.
