Andrew Arlt

Andrew Arlt is from Minnesota and loves to explore the outdoors around the state, and the world. He studied field biology and ecology as an undergraduate, before becoming a high school science teacher. He worked with many different groups of young people in natural settings, from the Mississippi River to the Boundary Waters to the Rocky Mountains. But after 15 years he decided to return to school for a Master's degree in GIS and Natural Resource Management. Andrew is excited to work with the southeast region of the FWS and bring life to their habitat restoration and species protection goals.
