Karla Sofia Garcia Bague

Karla Sofia Garcia was born and raised in Puerto Rico. From a very young age, they were well-aware of environmental disaster consequences and from then on, decided to always dedicate some portion of their work towards supporting environmental resilience and conservation. They graduated with a B.S. in Astrophysics from Haverford College, where they were Co-Head of the Environmental Community House for two years. Karla is excited to continue their environmental education work as an intern at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.
