Gabriel Van Praag

Gabriel is a recent UC Santa Barbara graduate in Environmental Studies (B.S.) and Geography - GIS Emphasis (B.A.). He has demonstrated experience in data management and analysis, spatial analysis and visualization, science communication, professional writing, research, and community organizing. This he has gained from his undergraduate education and experience working as a research assistant and as an environmental organizer for a student organization. Gabriel is looking forward to a career path that deals with issues related to natural resources management, climate change science and adaptation, and environmental justice issues—from a large scale and interdisciplinary perspective.
