Pamela Pina

Pamela is a University of Maryland Baltimore County Graduate with a degree in Environmental Studies and Geography. She previously worked with Howard EcoWorks installing and maintaining stormwater best management practices. She is excited to work at the Patuxent Research Refuge’s Visitor Center where she hopes to learn how to meaningfully engage with the communities that visit the park. She also hopes to engage the Latinx community in meaningful environmental stewardship opportunities and to make environmental information accessible and available in Spanish. In her spare time, she likes to go on walks, press flowers and is currently reading One Hundred Years of Solitude.
